Honoré van Rijswijk founded collective with the intention to bring strategic thinking to the foreground of urban transformation. He is passionate about designing environments which encourage sharing and promote interaction.


Honoré has significant design experience in major urban regeneration and development in Europe and emerging countries. This includes: city and regional strategies; mixed-use and residential masterplanning; custom and self build neighbourhoods; public realm design; and transport interchange initiatives. 



Honoré’s appointments to join the Right to Build Task Force, Southwark, Richmond and Wandsworth Design Review Panels are consistent with his personal ambition to continue promoting distinctive place-shaping initiatives.




Honoré has extensive academic experience and leads a landscape and urban research and design unit at the University of Greenwich in a part-time role. He has frequently contributed to mentoring programmes and design reviews, including: University of East London; Oxford Brookes University; Kingston University London; New York Institute of Technology; Central Saint Martins; Politecnico di Milano; and Academy of Urbanism.
